Advance at College-Community College of Philadelphia is offering motivated and academically talented students the opportunity to take college courses and experience a college environment through Advance at College, a dual enrollment program. Tuition is $99.36 per credit. Most courses are three credits, making the cost just under $300.00. Textbooks and course material are not included. The College waives all fees for Advance at College program participants. Interested students should print an application at www.ccp.edu/advanceatcollege and click on the Advance at College Application link to open a PDF of the application and print the file. DO NOT COMPLETE THE REGULAR COLLEGE APPLICATION ONLINE.
Charles E. Ellis Trust for Girls is currently accepting application from 11th grade girls for the funding of SAT Prep Courses. Please visit the following website to download an application: www.wwscholars.org/ellis Students receiving aid from The Ellis Trust have used the funds for the following purposes: Special school supplies such as graphing calculators, lab equipment, books, etc, tutoring, college visits-group and individual, sports equipment and team participation fees, music, dance, theater, and art lessons, c college courses, after-school programs, senior dues, ACT/SAT tests, CSS Profile for financial aid, leadership conferences, and enrichment Summer Camps.
